THE STORY OF 3 CANS OF COKE
There are 3 cans of coke. The three of them are produced in a factory.
When the time comes, a truck came to the factory, picked up the coke and headed to different places for distribution.
The first stop is at IndoMaret Store. The first coke is delivered here.
The coke is placed on the shelves and is priced at Rp. 4,000.
The second stop is at SOGO Shopping Store. The second coke is delivered there. The coke is placed in SOGO Shopping Store fridges to have a chilled coke and is priced at Rp. 7,000.
The final stop is at Sheraton Hotel which is a luxurious five star hotel. The third coke is delivered here. This can is placed in a special store shelf or fridge. This will only be taken out when ordered by customers. And, when it is ordered, it will be taken out along with a crystal glass filled with ice cubes on a tray. Waiters will open and pour it into the glass and then politely presented it to the customer. The price is Rp. 40,000.
Now the question is…
Why the three cans of coke have different prices even though they were produced at the same factory, were delivered with the same truck and the cokes even have the same taste and aroma?
Your environment is the one that reflecting your prices.
Environment holds your value.
If you are in a perfect environment that can show your true potential, then you will be a shining diamond.
However, if you are in a bad environment that can’t even have the chance to show your potential, then you will just be an ugly rock.
The same people with the same potential and skill with different environment will have different value.
Now it’s up to you what you want to become.
